The International Journal of Case Reports and Images (IJCRI) publishes Review Articles, Case Series, Case Reports, Case in Images, Clinical Images and Letter to Editors on all subjects of medicine and medical sciences which are of interest to a wide readership.

Articles can be submitted:

Your manuscript will be assigned a manuscript ID number which will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours of manuscript submission. In all communications regarding your manuscript, please quote the manuscript ID number allotted to you.

As soon as possible, you will be notified of the outcome of the peer review process. All decisions and queries will be communicated to your email address. Check your email messages every 3-4 days for messages from the Editorial Staff.

Upon acceptance, authors are required to submit a Author Agreement Form signed by the corresponding author. Be sure to include the manuscript ID number, type of manuscript, title of the manuscript and names of all authors in the form.

Manuscript templates

We have prepared manuscript templates to help authors in preparing and submitting their manuscript to IJCRI. We strongly encourage you to use the templates. Instructions for using the templates are given on the 'Templates to Use' and 'Instructions for Authors' section of the website, accessible from the right column.

International Journal of Case reports and Images, follows an open access model in which all published articles are made freely available to international audience, immediately on publication. To cover for our expenses we are forced to charge fees from authors. We have tried to keep our Article Publication Charges as low as possible. Review articles are published free of charge. We charge $50 per article for Case series, Case reports and Case in images and $30 per article for Clinical Images and Letter to Editors, while other journals typically charge from $200 to over $800 for publication of such articles.

For authors facing financial difficulties, it might be possible to grant fee waiver or discount in some cases. Please note that number of factors are considered for granting waivers and there is no guarantee that it will be granted. Please see 'FAQ' or 'Instructions for Authors' pages for more details.
